Speaker: Elizabeth Saika Troubetzkoy and Doreen Croll

Elizabeth's grandfather was a Russian diplomant and part of the royal family. Fleeing Russia after the revolution they immigrated to Canada and bought together with other Russion families summer cottages in the Laurentians around the area of Lac-Labelle.



Elizabeth has translated a book about her grandfather Grigorii Trubetskoi. The book is available in the library of the historical society:
